Nerdy and unconvincing as punk-rockers, Weezer's album is at its best quite catchy, whilst at its worst is somewhere in between boring and annoying. An album that left me feeling shortchanged, not just for its length, but also because they sound like a poor man's Green Day and I previously had high hopes having already heard Island In The Sun.
